Warning: this Help section was originally written in 2017, and has not been fully updated for the July 2024 intermediate US-SOMO release. Therefore, all screenshots refer to an older layup, although the commands are mostly the same. In particular, the CorMap Analysis button has been renamed "PVP" ("P-value pair" analysis). An update of this Help section is planned.
Data set starting time : The starting time of the first point in dataset. This is a display only field showing what was found in the CSV file.
Data set ending time : The starting time of the last point in dataset. This is a display only field showing what was found in the CSV file.
Data set point count : The number of points in dataset. This is a display only field showing what was found in the CSV file.
Frame number 1 time [minutes] : In this field you must enter the Time of Frame number 1 in minutes. This will be used during the conversion to identify the first Frame.
Length of frame [seconds] : In this field you must enter the time length of a Frame in seconds. This will be used to convert the Time to Frames.
Specify starting frame number to extract : Optionally specify the starting Frame number to extract after conversion to Frames, default is Frame number 1 if not checked. This can be used to limit the number of Frames extracted. If you check the box, an additional field will apear where you can input the number.
Specify ending frame number to extract : Optionally specify the ending Frame number to extract after conversion to Frames, default is to use the last Frame number available. This can be used to limit the number of Frames extracted. If you check the box, an additional field will apear where you can input the number.
Help : Displays this help page in a web browser window.
Cancel : Stops processing and exits the window.
Process : Process will begin the conversion and produce a collection of curves, one for each wavelength found, of Frame vs absorbance. They will appear in the standard file lists of main HPLC-SAXS window, and thus can be used for concentration profiles or saved using the standard methods there. Here is an example main window after processing and selecting all the concentration curves:
